It can be pretty intimidating to shop for calligraphy services if it’s not something you’ve looked into before. The average person doesn’t inquire about calligraphy services until a special event rolls around. I’ve come up with this easy, handy guide for what to expect when you choose to work with me as your calligrapher.
My services include:

invitations
Timeline
The invitation process should be initiated as soon as you have your guest list finalized, this allows your calligrapher to have adequate time to complete the calligraphy for your invitations. I require envelopes up to 17 weeks before the wedding date. This allows me 6-8 weeks to complete the calligraphy work, ship to your home and enough time for you to send out your invitations to your guests.
I currently offer addressing inner and outer envelopes for invitations. If you choose this service, you will receive:
A template in which to enter your guest’s names and addresses
A short inquiry form that will help to finalize details (certain styles or extra lines may incur extra fees)
Materials
I only provide calligraphy services at this time. Clients will select their envelope of choice and ship them to my studio for calligraphy work. If you need assistance with selecting an envelope, I’d be happy to help with this process!
Of note, I do ask that clients purchase an extra 20% of materials to account for errors. Errors are rare, but can occur. Once I send the completed, calligraphed envelopes to you, I will hold onto the extra materials. This will allow me to complete and ship any additional completed envelopes or make corrections as needed.
Invitation Inclusions
Calligraphy services for invitations include the guest name and address only.
DAY-OF SUPPLIES
What are day-of supplies?
Day-of materials include anything you would utilize on the day of the wedding. I currently offer the following day-of services:
Place cards
Escort cards
Handwritten menus
Signage
Materials
I only provide calligraphy services at this time. Clients will select their materials of choice and ship them to my studio for calligraphy work. If you need assistance with selecting materials for place/escort cards and menus, I’d be happy to help with this process!

Place Cards / Escort Cards
Place cards and escort card materials can be shipped to my studio as soon as your guest list as finalized. I do request a finalized guest list in the weeks coming up to your wedding that can be determined upon booking.
Signage
I offer signage for weddings and events of all shapes and sizes. If you’re interested in custom signs for your wedding, please contact me for rates!
wedding vows + Custom requests
Wedding Vows
Calligraphed wedding vows make the perfect gift for an anniversary or other special occasion. When you choose to work with me, your vows will be customized to your preference. I offer archival-quality paper so your vows will last with the right care. Turn your vows into heirlooms to enjoy for years to come.
Custom Requests
Custom requests can include anything from a letter to a poem to anything you can think of! I can customize your order to your exact preferences. Custom requests are also offered on archival-quality paper that will last with the right care.
Materials
I only offer calligraphy services at this time. For wedding vows and custom requests, I have certain types of paper that I recommend. If these preferences don’t suit your needs, I would love to collaborate with you to find something that fits your vision!
